St. Canice Primary School exists to serve the Dungiven community, through the
‘provision of a caring and effective Catholic education service which will enable children to make the most of their potential for academic, religious and human development’
Vision
All involved with St. Canice Primary School - Staff, Parents, Governors and Trustees - must aim to promote the values, attitudes, beliefs and practices of our Catholic Faith through our relationship with each other, and where each child is helped to develop to his/her full potential.
The central feature of our vision is a commitment by all, to maintain a ‘child centred’ focus, whereby all partners involved in the pupils’ educational development have a key role to play.
