Last week we had a busy week in Nursery. We tried delicious pancakes on Pancake Tuesday. We talked about recipe books and looked at the different ingredients we needed to make our pancakes. We counted out the units needed to make the pancakes and best of all we got to try them out!
Midweek we had our Education Works Getting Ready to Learn Parents Evening. This evening was aimed at supporting our parents to have a better understanding of our Pre-School curriculum and the stepping stones towards Primary One. We thank our parents for the great turn out on the night, it was truly appreciated.
Then to wrap off the week, the children came to school dressed as their favourite character for World Book Day. The children also brought their favourite story book. We then joined forces with our Primary Four children who read our stories to us before returning to Nursery for a very engaging play session. The children thoroughly enjoyed their morning.
