Today we held our annual girls' football tournament. We welcomed ten teams to Saint Canice GAC club grounds, where we were treated to a wonderful display of skill from all of our participating teams. All of the games were keenly contested, with Mayogall edging out Saint John's Dernaflaw in an exciting final. Many thanks to all of the schools who participated. Also, many thanks to Emmett Stewart who helped coordinate the day, the referees from Saint Patrick's College Dungiven, the ladies football team and the men's football team for their help in the smooth running of the games. Our primary seven and six pupils were a great help in assisting and clearing up during the day. Many thanks also to our fantastic classroom assistants and Kitchen staff who worked tirelessly to prepare and serve food. We would also like to thank Mr Whippy the ice cream man for his attendance and Saint Canice GAC and Shea McKeever, who helped facilitate the event at the club.
